Evesham has loaded up the second generation of its answer to the MacMini, the Mini PC, with Intel Core 2 Duo processors.

Evesham are keen to stress the look and style of the small PC, which measure just 50 x 165 x 165mm. It’s designed to be a small and neat media centre, and therefore comes equipped with a Digital TV tuner to give access to all free-to-air TV channels.

But just because it’s designed primarily for entertainment doesn’t mean it doesn’t pack a mean punch in the hardware department.

It runs on Core 2DUO T7200 processors as well as an Intel GMA950 graphics card and 1GB DDR2 RAM, and has a 100GB worth of storage.

Features include a Dual Layer DVD RW drive, and extended connectivity that includes an S-Video socket, an IEEE1394 jack, 2 USB2.0 ports, DVi and audio connections.

The new Mini PC is available now for £799.
