Fujitsu Siemens has added a new laptop to its business range that promises over 12 hours usage from one charge.

Called the LIFEBOOK C1320, and powered by a Intel Centrino Mobile Technology the entry-level model is available with a 15in. standard or 15.4in. widescreen display.

The killer app is the inclusion of a lithium-ion battery that allows the laptop to operate for up to 12.5 hours (with both batteries) without recharging.

The LIFEBOOK C1320 also promises Dual-channel PC533 DDR2 SDRAM and an Express card slot.

Currently, the LIFEBOOK C1320 is the only notebook in its class to offer the newest serial ATA (S-ATA) technology, which increases data transfer speeds to up to 150 MB/s.

Alongside the Intel 915GM chipset, this gives the LIFEBOOK C1320 a 25-percent performance boost over its predecessor.

The LIFEBOOK C1320 replaces the LIFEBOOK C1110.
