Disney+ is now available in the UK and several European countries, with Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland also getting the service from today.

Unfortunately, France, which was originally on the list, has been delayed at the behest of the French government during the coronavirus crisis - to 7 April.

If you are in a supported region, however, you can sign up for a seven-day free trial, with a subscription then priced at £5.99/€6.99 per month.

And for those hoping to find out what that the Baby Yoda fuss is all about, the great news is that you will be able to see the first three episodes of The Mandalorian this debut week.

The first two episodes are now available to stream, while the third will be added to the platform by Disney on Friday 27 March.

Each of the following five remaining episodes of season one will then be shown weekly.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars' final season has also started with two episodes being available from launch day. Two extra episodes will then be added on the Friday.

Like The Mandalorian, the rest of the episodes will arrive weekly each Friday.

Disney+ hosts 26 original series and movies exclusively. There are also more than 500 films and 300 TV series available from the off.

The service is already available in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands.

Additional European countries, including Belgium, the Nordics and Portugal will follow in summer.
