Sadly, with the untimely death of actress Helen McCrory before filming resumed, Polly doesn't appear in the final run. However, her absence is tastefully explained in the first episode.

Will there be a Peaky Blinders season 7?

Series six of Peaky Blinders will be the last to air on TV. It is also going to wrap up the Thomas Shelby storyline.

However, Steven Knight has confirmed that he plans for the story to continue in other forms - including a movie somewhere down the line.

He is quoted by Empire magazine as saying that he sees season 6 as simply "the end of the beginning".

He also revealed that the story will continue into WWII, most likely in big screen film form: "It will now go into and beyond the Second World War. Because I just think the energy that is out there in the world for this, I want to keep it going, and I want to see how this can progress beyond that," he said.
