OnePlus has finally launched the OnePlus 8 Pro, showing off its latest line of smartphones, but it had another little surprise planned for the online event  - the Bullets Wireless Z headphones.

We had heard in recent weeks that these would be coming, and the manufacturer duly obliged, showing off the new bullet headphones, which are most reminiscent of the Beats X in terms of design, sporting a rubbery neckband design.

One of the most impressive developments made by the Bullets Wireless Z comes in the inclusion of fast charging, and a solid estimated battery life of 20 hours, with an fully 10 hours of battery life coming from just 10 minutes of charging - fast charging was very much a focus of OnePlus's online presentation, after all.

We also got confirmation that the headphones will be available in four colours: Mint, Oat, Black and Blue. Does "Oat" look distinctly white to us? Yes, but we'll move on - after all, there's nothing new in bonkers naming conventions.

They're also both sweat and water-resistant, making them a solid fit for anyone looking to workout with headphones.

The headphones are available to buy now in some colours from OnePlus in the UK, although not yet in the US, with the price confirmed at $49.95 or £49.95, which is a competitive price point for what are clearly intended to appeal to people who aren't looking to spend triple figures on true wireless earbuds.

Of course, it's also fair to say that the proof in the pudding for headphones is sound quality, so we'll have to wait to get our hands on the Bullets Wireless Z to determine how impressive they are.
