(Pocket-lint) - I've been a tech journalist for over 20 years. I first started writing about technology for The Times of London, before moving on to launch the video games channel on Amazon.co.uk in 2000.
Previous roles have included being the features editor for Computeractive, a PR Account Manager for Olympus, and a second stint at The Times as both a journalist and designer. In 2003 I started Pocket-lint with a budget of just £15. Since then Pocket-lint has grown to be a leading authority within the UK and US consumer tech scene.
Over the years I've questioned or interviewed leading tech industry figures from Steve Jobs, Steve Ballmer, Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Tim Cook, and numerous CEOs and founders. I am regularly quoted in UK national newspapers, websites from around the world, and on TV and radio. Highlights include appearing on the BBC Radio 4 Today show, World Business Report and the Sky News tech show, and as a judge on The Apprentice. A BAFTA member, I also advise companies on design, UX, UI, media training, and give talks on technology trends.
In my spare time, I like running, drinking wine, and watching movies, not necessarily in that order.
