Audio brand Klipsch has entered the wireless earphones market with a svelte pair designed to fit comfortably and securely.

The Klipsch R5 Wireless 'phones are Bluetooth 4.2-enabled and styled for active lifestyles. And with IPX4 water resistance, they are as capable when worn out for a run as on a Tube during rush hour.

Like the Beats X or OnePlus Bullets Wireless, they keep the earpieces small by housing the electronics in a conjoining neck band. Where the Klipsch differ is that the band sports two "ear cinches" that allow you to customise the cable to a length that best suits you.

The company also provides a pair of its Comply Ts-100 Comfort foam tips for snug fit and to help isolate noise.

Each earbud contains a 5mm dynamic moving coil micro speaker driver, while the headset supports aptX and AAC high-quality playback over wireless connection. You can also pair two separate devices simultaneously.

A lithium ion battery provides up to eight hours of music listening and/or taking phone calls. An integrated cVc microphone is included for talking and a three-button remote can take calls or change volume.

The Klipsch R5 Wireless are available now in black, priced at £100.
