Denon has announced the launch of the AH-NC600, apparently the company's first in-ear noise cancelling headphones that claim to reduce outside noise by 99%.

Designed for a "high-quality listening experience" while travelling, the headphones offer a built-in amplifier and Denon's "Compressed Audio Restorer", "Acoustic Optimizer" and "Radial Cascade Damper" as a host of in-house tech.

Powered by one AAA battery the AH-NC600 allows for nearly 40 hours of noise-cancelling operation and if your battery runs out on the go, can be used as ordinary headphones without the power.

The new headphones come complete with an aeroplane adapter, different size ear tips, a 0.8-metre length extension cable with L-shape plug and a specially designed hard carrying case that's said to be big enough to also fit your phone or MP3 player.

The AH-NC600 will be available in September in black for £159.99.
