Simple Minds, the Scottish rock band best known for their hit, "Don't You (Forget About Me)", has done the same thing as several other bands, issuing a USB stick, except that they've gone a step further. They've put recordings of every single date on their tour on it.

That adds up to a massive 20 hours of live music, and they've spiced things up even further with the addition of bonus tracks from soundchecks, backstage video footage and a collector's box to keep the thing in.

It's all in 320kbps MP3 format, but there are only 222 of the 8GB sticks available, so if you want one you better get in there fast. They cost £99, which might sound ridiculous to you, but there's got to be at least 222 Simple Minds fans who'll pay for 10-odd recordings of "Don't You Forget About Me".

Thanks to David for the tip.
