WWE 2K22 review: King of the ring once more?

WWE 2K20 was a disaster, riddled with bugs. Thankfully, 2K22 starts afresh with new mechanics so it's vastly improved. Now it's a game WWE fans can enjoy. (image credit: 2K Games)
Many alumni are present, including Iconics (Impact), Keith Lee (AEW), Kyle O'Reilly (AEW), Isiah Swerve Scott (AEW), Jeff Hardy (AEW), and Karrion Kross (MLW). (image credit: 2K Games)
There are plenty of other legends on the roster too, plus more to come in future DLC packs. You at least get a chance to make up your own "what if?" storylines. (image credit: 2K Games)
Perhaps most interestingly, though, there's a couple of new classic modes - MyFaction and MyGM - that provide different ways to enjoy the action. (image credit: 2K Games)
The most enjoyable WWE game in many years. Some elements are still underbaked, and extra finesse wouldn't go amiss, but this is a hugely positive reboot. (image credit: 2K Games)
