Microsoft has announced that US consumers will soon be able to download Forza Motorsport 5 when they purchase an Xbox One video game console bundle for $499.99. The deal, which essentially includes a free digital copy of the Forza 5, is only available for a limited time.

"Hailed by critics and consumers alike as the best-looking and most realistic racing game of this, or any other generation, Forza Motorsport 5 has been embraced by Xbox One fans worldwide, becoming the best-selling racing game by console attach over the past decade," explained Microsoft's Major Nelson in a blog post on Thursday.

"In our quest to delight fans, we wanted to give even more people the chance to experience their ultimate car fantasy," added Major Nelson, who - apart from his gamertag - is also known as Larry Hryb, the Director of Programming for Xbox Live at Microsoft.
