Xbox Live coming to Windows 8

Microsoft’s Major Nelson has confirmed that Xbox Live will be coming to Windows 8 when the company’s new operating system is launched.
“We are confirming that we will be bringing Xbox Live to the PC with Xbox LIVE on Windows,” said the Xbox exec on his blog.
According to Microsoft, Xbox Live brings games, music, movies, and TV shows to your favourite Microsoft and Windows devices; presumably in a similar way to how developers have implemented it on the company’s Windows Phone 7 devices.
Microsoft demoed the new Xbox Live features at the annual BUILD conference in LA.
“We have much more detail to share about the capabilities of Xbox LIVE on Windows and look forward to the opportunity to do so in the near future,” Nelson teased.
