Microsoft has signed a "strategic partnership" with LG that will see 3D gaming arrive on the Xbox 360. The move confirms that Microsoft is mirroring Sony's plans to offer 3D titles using its existing hardware.
As well as 3D gaming on Microsoft's console, the partnership will also see Xbox 360s and games sold alongside existing LG 3D TVs in consumer bundles. The first of which will see Xbox 360s sold with the LX5900 3DTV.
Initially, the bundles are exclusively available in Korea, home of LG. But it's safe to assume that, with the worldwide thirst for all things 3D on the rise, the partnership will be extended towards other areas.
