Although there has been no official confirmation, it seems that a PC version of GTA V is definitely on the cards. Amazon has listed the game in both Germany and France.

The French page for Grand Theft Auto V on "Windows 7/Vista" has now been taken down, but the German version was still available when we visited.

No release date is given, but the retailer's posting does list it at 59.99 euros. That will most likely translate to £50 in the UK.

Previous speculation has suggested that the PC version of the biggest-selling game of all time will be available by the end of March. The fact that Amazon has started to trail it hints that could well be the case.

If it does emerge by then, that would be six months after the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions hit the shops. The PC version of GTA IV took eight.
