We've brought you rumours about the next-gen PlayStation Portable from Sony before, but now "sources directly involved with the new system" have provided game site 1up with more information about the new console.
Supposedly Sony will unveil the revamped PSP at this year's E3 conference in early June and the new gaming device is said to be dubbed the PSP Go!, a moniker that ties in with Go-branded PSP services that already exist.
The Go! will be available in two models - one with 8GB and one with 16GB of built-in flash memory. The UMD drive is said to be for the chop, and design-wise it will offer a d-pad, analog nub, and buttons as part of a sliding unit sticking out below the screen.
Previous rumours gave the new device a touchscreen and had it in shops in time for Christmas, but all sources are pointing to an E3 annoucement - we will keep you posted.
