Bioshock for PS3 dated

PS3 fans still waiting for Bioshock to make it to the Sony console will have to wait no longer.
2K Games has announced that the action romp will be available on the PS3 in the US on the 21 October, while we here in Blighty will get the game on the 24 October.
Gamers, who've waited over a year for the treat of not having to play it on the Xbox 360 console, (yes you could have settled for the PC version) will be rewarded with extra content.
Headlining the list of new features is the inclusion of the Survivor difficulty mode, Trophy support and the addition of all-new Add-On Game Content.
According to 2K, the Challenge Rooms, created for just the PS3 users, will "test the mettle of new and seasoned gamers by requiring them to utilize the knowledge and skills they have learned while traversing the halls of Rapture".
Last year Bioshock won the coveted PC Game of the Year Award from Pocket-lint.
