PS3 has "long way to go" to overtake Xbox

Despite recent reports suggesting that sales of Sony's PlayStation 3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360 were almost "neck and neck" over the Easter period, Chart Track market statistics has revealed the Xbox 360 is still around one million sales ahead of the PS3 in the UK.
Dorian Bloch, director of UK sales monitor Chart Track, told GamesIndustry: "We are very close to clocking through two million 360s in the UK. It should be next week".
"The Xbox 360 is extremely well liked in the UK and very strong. Sony has a long way to go to overtake it in the UK."
Although ahead overall, since Easter sales of the Xbox 360 have dropped by 11%, while the PS3 saw a rise of 14%, an increase being credited to the launch of the "Gran Turismo 5: Prologue" bundle.
