PSP gets Giga Pack offering for Christmas

Sony is launching a new PSP value pack in time for the Christmas shopping season with a 1GB Memory Stick PRO Duo included in the box.
Called the PSP Giga Pack, the pack also contains a battery pack, AC Adaptor, USB cable and an all-new PSP stand for easy hands-free viewing.
The pack will cost £214.99 suggesting a saving of £35 if you were to buy a PSP and a SanDisk 1Gb card.
The PSP Giga Pack will be available in the UK and Ireland on 21st November and throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa on 28th November 2005.
In other PSP news, Sony America has said that it plans to sell between 2.5 million and 3 million PlayStation Portable handheld video game devices in its first North American holiday season.
"We're going to try to double the installed base between now and the end of the year", Kaz Hirai, Sony Computer Entertainment America president and chief executive, told Reuters, the news agency in a telephone interview.
