HBO Go launches on PlayStation 3 for US subscribers

HBO's Go streaming service began to rollout to the PlayStation 3 on Tuesday, after Sony teasing the release in January.
The new app will enable subscribers of the cable channel, only available in US, to watch content from the console. Popular HBO Go titles have been the talk of pundits for sometime, including True Detective, Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones.
The HBO Go service offers every episode of every season of HBO’s top shows, so it's definitely a benefit to have on as many platforms as possible. Past the PlayStation 3, it's also found on the Xbox 360, Apple TV, iOS, Android, and more.
"We are also working diligently with HBO to bring the HBO GO app to PS4," Phil Rosenberg, senior vice president of business development at Sony, said on the company's blog Tuesday.
