As well as press conferences from two of the major console manufacturers - Sony and Microsoft, no Nintendo this year - the biggest software publishers have big media events too. EA's is The Download: EA 2013 Preview on Monday 10 June and you can watch it right here on Pocket-lint.
It promises updates and new gameplay action from next and current generation versions of FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, the new Madden, Need for Speed and, intriguingly what the company's plans for Star Wars are now that it's secured the rights to develop and publish console and PC games around the franchise from Disney.
