Nintendo has announced the 100 Classic Book collection for DS, which brings a whole host of literary favourites to Nintendo's handheld.
The software is set for release on Boxing Day and has been developed in collaboration with book publisher Harper Collins. A total of 100 plays and novels will be yours to read from one game.
It seems you will hold the DS like a book, and turn over pages using the stylus. There is a search function, as well as bookmarking so you don't lose your place - there's even more works available to download via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
All-in-all, Shakespeare fans will be happy, with 21 plays from the old bard included. There are also 13 Dickens novels as well as classics from Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Thomas Hardy, Lewis Carroll and Robert Louis Stevenson.
Oscar Wilde is there to give you a bit of a giggle, while Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes should awaken the detective in you. Amazon has all the included works listed, if you're interested.
Nintendo has noted that although the product has no age classification, some texts include "expressions, themes or elements that may be considered inappropriate for young children". D.H. Lawrence's Sons and Lovers is probably one you should avoid for the kids' bed time story.
The game has an RRP of £19.99, but you can currently pre-order it on Amazon for £17.99.
