Anthem the game comes out next Friday, 22 February for PS4, Xbox One and PC and, from what we've seen so far, looks to be well worth the long wait.

To whet our appetites further, EA commissioned world renowned sci-fi director Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium) to make a live action trailer for the game, which you can see above.

It's truly excellent and actually makes us now want a full-blown live action movie too.

Called Conviction, the trailer is set decades before the events that take place in EA and Bioware's game.

It features a cool look at several javelins, the exoskeletons piloted by players in the game, plus clips of enemies and a sinister boss that will no doubt feature as part of the gameplay.

If we're being honest, we haven't a scooby as to what's actually going on in the trailer, but it all looks great - with Blomkamp's trademark filters and hyper-realistic CG effects.

Anthem the game will release globally next week. However, Origin Access Premier members can already play the full game on PC, while EA Access and Origin Access Basic members can play up to 10 hours of the full game on Xbox One and PC respectively.
