Skyrim mod goes all Pacific Rim: giant monsters inbound
Oh, how we do love a Skyrim mod. The latest to catch our attention is "Here There Be Monsters" in which Pacific-Rim-esque monsters bound around the Ghost Sea and make even some of the biggest three-dimensional nasties we've ever seen in a game look positively small. And who could resist a magic battle with a skyscraper-sized giant walrus?
"Legends tell of the beasts that dwell in the deep. Creatures that have slept for centuries beneath the ice. Monsters of such immensity, that even the dragons fear them. And now, like the dragons, the monsters have awoken," reads Araanim's Workshop, as found in the Steam Community.
This Skyrim mod comprises of nine giant boss monsters each based around mythical sea monsters, including a massive Kraken and plenty more besides. In addition there are sea captains and a monster hunter for hire. It's a wholly different thing from the Tropical Skyrim mod which last warmed us up during the UK's drab winter.
