Rock Band 2 bundle release pushed back

Sorry Rock Band fans - it seems that the release of Rock Band 2's bundle edition has been pushed back by over a month.
Yes it looks like players hoping to get their hands on the bundle on September 14th will now have to wait until October 19th before they can rock out.
You see, the bundle of the game and instruments had been scheduled for an early release exclusively to Xbox 360 so any keen rockers wanting to get their hands on it early would also have to fork out for the intruments as well. Maybe even a console too for the double whammy.
However, the later October date it has now been pushed back to was the scheduled release for the standalone game, and on all platforms. This certainly seems a bit strange you'd expect less bundles to be sold this way.
No reason has been given for the delay as yet. Maybe Harmonix was just trying to keep it all fair and square. But somehow we doubt that.
