ViewSonic is releasing a range of 120Hz LCD monitors under the moniker of "FuHzion" that are ready for integration with graphics cards that can pump out 3D images.

120Hz is double the 60Hz frequency of regular LCD monitors, so the FuHzion range can give the impression of 3D by flickering between left and right views alternately. A pair of stereoscopic shutter glasses can then be used to view that 3D.

Initially, there's only one model in the range - the 22-inch VX2268wm. Other than the refresh rate, it has a 2ms response time, 1680x1050 resolution and HDCP support. It also has stereo speakers built-in.

The VX2268wm costs £270, and is available now.
