A two-page advert in Japanese video game magazine Famitsu, has hinted as to what Capcom's Resident Evil 5 will have to offer us in way of a plot.

The advert promoting the game depicts the game's male protagonist Chris Redfield putting flowers on the grave of Jill Valentine, Redfield's ex-partner and one of the series' biggest characters

A glimpse of this grave was briefly shown in the Resident Evil 5 (known as Biohazard in Japan) trailer shown at TGS, but it was so quick many gamers missed it.

As one of the first print adverts of Resident Evil 5, it would suggest that her death will be somehow key to the plot, but that remains to be seen.

The full engraving on Jill Valentine's tombstone is:

"In Ever Loving Memory of Our Dear
Jill Valentine

The game is set for release in Europe on 13 March 2009.
