Red Alert being offered on free download

EA has announced that gamers will be able to download the original Red Alert game for free from the series' official website.
As well as that, EA will also be granting free access to Red Alert 2 for all those pre-ordering Red Alert 3.
Unfortunately, it seems like this is a US-only offer at the moment, which can be done from EA America Store, GameStop and Best Buy.
If you pre-order on the website, you also get some extra goodies such as a feature on Gina Carano, some Gemma Atkinson and Jenny McCarthy wallpapers and a look back at the series and all its success.
These deals are no doubt to mark the 13th anniversary of the first Red Alert game. If you've never played it, or fancy rejigging your memory, head over to the official website to download the 500MB Soviet and Allied discs.
