The Gizmondo runs into trouble with the changing of the clocks
|

The Gizmondo console launched only last month in the UK has run into trouble with the changing of the clocks in the UK. For some reason the new handheld developed by Tiger Electronics wasn't prepared for the yearly shift in time each year in the spring.
As a result of the UK going into British Summer Time, a bug has been exposed in the shell script that will effect how the device works.
Speaking to Gizmondo, it said that updates will be send out to the purchasers of the device via either SD cards or GPRS upgrades on the 14th of April.
The setback comes as Gizmondo announced that it will be selling the handheld console in John Lewis, Carphone Warehouse and GameStation in the UK.
