Sony Pictures-backed Crackle is now available on the Sony PlayStation Vita system.

Engadget has reported that PS Vita users can now stream Crackle's entire catalogue of movies and television series. Crackle has content for a plethora of genres including action, comedy, crime, horror and sci-fi, and it even has original shows such as Jerry Seinfeld's Emmy-nominated Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Sony Pictures also revealed that Crackle has more than 43 million viewers across 22 countries, and that number is about to increase now that PS Vita users can stream video from the Crackle app free of charge. Keep in mind that you don't need to create a Crackle account unless you want to sync your watch list across multiple devices and platforms.
