If you are going to get an actor to do nothing but act through the movements of his face, you want none other than Harrison Ford.

Handy then, because that’s exactly who Sony has called in to help it promote Uncharted 3 in Japan, due to be released in November.

Harrison "I didn't kill my wife!" Ford (it's a line from The Fugitive) is seen playing the game and trying to work his way through a level that sees Nathan Drake climbing into the back of a aeroplane mid air.

Uncharted 3 is the latest in the series and sees the search for the fabled "Atlantis of the Sands" by fortune hunter Nathan Drake.

In the words of developer Naughty Dog, the game's storyline is:

"A search for the fabled 'Atlantis of the Sands' propels fortune hunter Nathan Drake on a daring trek into the heart of the Arabian Desert, a journey that pits him and his mentor Victor Sullivan against the occult treachery of a shadowy clandestine organization and its ruthless leader. When the terrible secrets of this lost city are unearthed, Drake’s quest descends into a desperate bid for survival that strains the limits of his endurance and forces him to confront his deepest fears."

Of course, we knew all that just by watching Mr Ford's face, didn’t we.
