Android gamers rejoice, because Gameloft has just announced that the HD versions of all of its titles have had their prices slashed (by up to 66.6 per cent) to just £1.

So, if you've got an Android device that can handle the graphics, you could grab yourself the likes of Real Football 2011, GT Racing Motor Academy, Gangstar: Miami Vindication, Spider-man: Total Mayhem and Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus, without breaking the bank.

The move follows the French game publisher's Valentine's Day iOS promotion in which 13 iPhone games have had their prices slashed to 59p, with game fans voting on which additional game should also be 59p.

Capcom, Sega and EA are also currently chucking out mobile games at reduced prices (Resident Evil 4, Street Fighter IV and Devil May Cry: Refrain all 59p) as well, so it's a great time to get your iOS or Android device packed-up with gaming action.

The Android £1 titles can be found on a dedicated Gameloft page and the iOS titles are all in the App Store.

Happy gaming app fans.
