TomTom has announced that its latest navigation software - already installed on some models across the TomTom x20, TomTom ONE XL product ranges and the TomTom ONE 3rd EDITION - is now available for the majority of its installed base of users.
Now, TomTom GO 910, TomTom GO 710, TomTom GO 510, TomTom GO 700, TomTom GO 500, TomTom ONE XL and TomTom ONE 1st and 2nd EDITION devices are also compatible with TomTom's latest software.
This allows users of these devices to use TomTom's map improvement technology, Map Share, and to get access to the "Help Me!" safety features.
TomTom's latest navigation software can be downloaded and installed via TomTom HOME. When the TomTom device is connected to TomTom HOME, a free-of-charge upgrade to TomTom's latest software will be offered.
In order to use TomTom Map Share, TomTom users must have a device with map version 6.75 or higher installed, so some users may have to pay to refresh their maps.
