Philips has launched two new digital photo frames to add to its 7- and 9-inch PhotoFrame models, the 5.6-, 7- and 10 -inch displays that offer interchangable frames.
The high-resolution LCD displays boast a high pixel density active matrix which Philips claims results in rich detail and vibrant colours.
The Philips PhotoFrames are designed to align with the photograph's native 3:2 or 4:3 formats ensuring the digital images are displayed in their natural appearance without distortion.
Downloading photos to the Philips PhotoFrame can be done with the option of saving pictures straight from a memory card or by connecting the device to a PC via a USB connector.
The on-screen menu provides the users with a one click control for managing all images uploaded onto the PhotoFrame and can be controlled with the SlideShow Manager.
The frames come with software for editing and customisation of pictures. The SmartAlbum allows users the ability to zoom and crop pictures, create and manage photo albums, and set up attractive transition effects for slideshows without the need for a PC.
The Philips Digital PhotoFrame range supports various memory card formats: Compact Flash (CFTM), Secure Digital (SDTM), (including the newest SDHC (high capacity)), Multimedia Card (MMCM), Memory Stick (MSTM), Memory Stick Duo and Pro Duo (via adaptor), Micro Secure Digital (MSD – via adaptor) and xD card.
