Philips has launched a new range of GoGear hard disk drive jukeboxes at IFA 2005 this year. The HDD1630 and HDD6330 will also allow users to share their favourite pictures while on the go.

The HDD1630 features 6Gb of storage for up to 3,000 songs and 1,600 pictures; while the HDD6330 features a 30Gb drive to hold up to 15,000 songs or 8,400 pictures.

Both players feature backlit sensory touchpads and Philips' SuperScroll system navigation through a music collection.

In addition to stored music and playlists, users can listen to their favourite radio stations with the integrated FM tuner.

Philips is promising a battery life on the HDD6330 is up to 15 hours of continual music playback, and 18 hours on the HDD1630

Philips has yet to confirm a price in the UK although the models will will be available in October 2005 and will have a suggested retail price of $299 and $199 respectively in America.
