Strengthening its ties with Apple further, Motorola has announced the launch of the Music Duo - a device that allows you to enjoy your iPod wirelessly and still be able to take calls in the midst of your jam session.

Working in conjunction with Motorola's Bluetooth Stereo Headphones HT820, you can connect to your iPod with the TEN Technology naviPlay Bluetooth Adapter for iPod and at the same time connect to your compatible Bluetooth-enabled phone
Without the need of cables required.

When a call comes in, the music will mute and will resume when you are finished.

Motorola is promising around 10 hours of listening and compatibility with Generation 3 or newer iPod players that have a Dock Connector, i.e., iPod, iPod mini, iPod nano.

Being Bluetooth the device is also compatible with any brand of Bluetooth1.1 or 1.2 -enabled phone that supports “headset” and “hands-free” profiles

The Motorola Music Duo is expected to be available in Q1 2006. However a price or specific launch date has yet to be set.
