Mio has announced its latest satnav - the Mio Navman Spirit V575TV - with a clue to its unique feature in the name.

Yep, that's right - this is no ordinary satnav - it's also a portable TV player.

The V575TV has a 4.7-inch screen, which is a nice size for passengers (not drivers obviously) to watch Freeview TV or maybe watch a film using the onboard multimedia player.

The Freeview aspect autotunes and there is an EPG as well. The device also fits into the Mio's headrest mounting bracket, which means the kids can watch the action in the back.

The satnav features include intelligent routing to avoid busy roads at peak times and there's also a learning feature whereby it studies your driving patterns. Plus, the Spirit V575 includes built-in traffic information and updates, 3D junction views and pre-loaded speed camera data (with a free trial period of a year).

The Mio Navman V575TV is available now, priced around £150.
