Logitech has long made a thin keyboard bolt-on accessory for the regular iPad, but it has now launched one for the iPad mini - allowing you to turn Apple's iPad into a miniature laptop.

Like its predecessor, the new Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard mini's screen cover acts as a keyboard, case and stand, all in one package and, as before, the keyboard pairs with your iPad mini through Bluetooth.

Those worried that just a small keyboard won't be that easy to type on shouldn't be. According to Logitech, it's just as easy to type on - but then it would say that, wouldn't it.

The iPad mini keyboard comes with function shortcut keys for quick commands, such as copy and paste.

The keyboard cover simply attaches to your iPad mini using powerful magnets, and has an instant On/Off feature which automatically wakes your iPad when you open the cover, or puts it to sleep when you close it.

The new keyboard, which will come in black or white, will cost 79 euros (£68) in the UK and will be shipping soon.
