Satnav manufacturer Garmin has announced that it's launching a new range of Satnavs - the 3700 series. The range consists of the 3790T, 3760T, and 3750, and have a thinner, high-resolution design.

All three models have a 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen that can operate in either landscape or portrait mode. They have multi-touch capabilities, meaning you can pinch-to-zoom and double-tap. There's a screen-lock too, so you don't accidentally start navigating to Bromwich, unless you absolutely want to.

The flagship model, the Nuvi 3790T, has a "wake-up phrase" which you can set to begin voice navigation, meaning that you can keep your attention on the road. It also has 3D terrain and 3D building support.

Both the 3790T and 3760T have Bluetooth support, and come with free lifetime traffic alerts. and all three models include pedestrian modes, ecoRoute options, "Where Am I?" feature and a secondary speaker located on the suction cup mount that Garmin claims will give the highest sound quality available in its lineup.

The 3700 Series will be showing up within the next couple of months, but there's no pricing details yet, unfortunately. When we hear more about Garmin's plans there, we'll let you know.
