USB sharing tool, Leyio, has rolled out new firmware for its devices, along with a smaller 8GB version. Its personal sharing devices (PSDs) can share to iPods and other PSDs already, but the company is promising that it'll soon be able to share with mobile phones, cameras, and the iPhone.

To get the new firmware, all you need to do is connect the device to your PC and run the software, and you'll be prompted to upgrade the device's software. Run through all the prompts, and you'll soon be swapping your photos, documents, videos, or music around.

The new 8GB model will come with microSD functionality, so that if you run out of space and regret opting for the smaller option, then you can bulk it up. That'll retail for £100 - slightly less than the £130 for the 16GB version, and will appear in October.
