aXbo has unveiled a new product - the Sleep Phase Alarm Clock - which is designed to wake you up without interrupting your natural sleep cycles.

Those cycles occur throughout the night and last about 90 - 110 minutes each. If you wake during a deep sleep, you'll feel groggy and tired, but if you wake during a light sleep phase then you should awaken feeling fresh and ready to go.

aXbo uses a wirelessly connected wristband to determine your body movements and therefore your sleep phase. The clock can track two people at once and also includes analysis software when connected to your computer.

The unit costs £180, which seems a little pricy if you're not 100% sure it'll work. To that end then, we've asked the company behind it to send us a review sample to have a go with and see if it works. Look out for Pocket-lint's review, arriving next week.
