Sagem released the £99.99 mydu@l radio 700 way back in March.

A plug'n'play device that doesn't require a computer link, this gadget can bring 7000 internet radio stations to your ears in any Wi-Fi zone.

And it also offers FM tuning, MP3/WVMA/WAV playing functionality from USB devices or your computer if you do network it and a digital alarm clock with sleep and snooze functions.

But now the company has decided to give it an update, which will include access to more channels and for free.

"Internet radio is gaining momentum and this upgrade with enable our listeners to receive even more channels from classical to punk rock", explains Jeff Root, general manager Sagem Communications.

"Whatever your taste in music you can find a station to suit through the mydual radio700."
