Men now have an option to conceal their iPod discreetly in their jacket while still having access to all controls, thanks to clothing manufacturer Bagir.

The tailors, who supply suits to US shops Brooks Brothers and Lands and to the UK’s Marks and Spencer, have teamed up with Eleksen to incorporate “smart fabric touchpad technology”, which integrates five buttons to control the music player in the lining.

Despite the high-tech electronic wizardry, the suit is still practical being machine-washable and wrinkle-resistant.

“We selected Eleksen’s unique touch-sensitive fabric to create an accessible interface between our clients and their iPods”, said Offer Gilboa, CEO of Bagir. “ElekTex is the only product on the market that is not disruptive to the design of our suits.”

The iPod Suit should be available in the UK from November for £149.
