The Snore Activated Nudging Pillow does as its name suggests, offering a little prod to stop late-night nasal noise.

The pillow has a built-in microphone so it can listen to the user's breathing, in a non-creepy way, to detect sonic vibrations specific to snoring. Once it hears the beginnings of a potential partner-rousing noise it can inflate an internal bladder to adjust the user's sleeping position.

The makers of the pillow say that inflating to an extra three inches is enough to make most snorers fall silent. While this could be great for anyone else in the bed, we'd be interested to hear how much noise the fan inflating the pillow makes.

The pillow can inflate between four and seven inches while the mics can be adjusted to the level of the snorer. It comes with a polyester cover that can be removed for washing and is powered by an AC adapter.

The Snore Activated Nudging Pillow is available now for $150 from Hammacher Schlemmer.
