In an increasingly digital world, we can often find ourselves a little too absorbed - no matter who you are. We've all rudely pulled out our phone at dinner to check the latest on Twitter or Facebook, and some of us have even put a smartphone in front of our face at a concert to record the action on stage. Why not just sit there and enjoy the moment?

A new short story written by Charlene deGuzman highlights those moments in life where a smartphone takes over. In some parts of the video it can be pretty hard to watch, as you might see yourself in a specific situation.

That's not to say smartphones and other gadgets are the worst thing ever. Of course, here at Pocket-lint we're going to preach against that. But maybe sometimes you just need to put technology down and enjoy life. Watch the video and see if you agree.
