Juicers allow you to ingest more fruit and vegetables than you likely could if you were to eat them all whole. The result is a little less fibre but that's not a bad trade off for for all those extra vitamins.
There are generally two main types of juicer. Centrifugal juicers use a spinning disc and filters to create the smoothest juice quickly. Masticating juicers meanwhile, are slower but arguably easier to clean with more juice attained from the fruit and veg.

The Sage Nutri Juicer is a centrifugal juicer, sponsored by Heston Blumenthal, and it is claimed to get 70 per cent of the vitamins and minerals from fruit, quickly.
There are Nutri Discs for hard and soft fruits, while Froojie Discs are present for pulping fruits like bananas and strawberries. A huge 84mm feeding tube means less chopping before juicing, and this is combined with a 3-litre pulp container and variable LCD speed control.
Braun Multiquick 5 J500
The Braun Multiquick 5 J500 claims to be able to deliver a glass of juice in just 15-seconds. It features a large 75mm chute for processing whole fruits, combined with a 2-litre pulp container.
It comes with a cleaning brush for easy cleaning and there's an anti-drip system too. It has two speed settings and a 1.25-litre capacity.
The Panasonic MJ-L500 is a slow-speed juicer that looks sleek, runs quietly and is easy to handle and clean.
It uses a stainless steel screw system to rotate and crush fruit and vegetables for maximum juice, but it also has a frozen attachment allowing you to pop in pre-frozen fruit for juicing.
Smeg SJF01CRUK Retro Style Slow Juicer
The Smeg SJF01CRUK Retro Style Slow Juicer is a masticating juicer that allows your to adjust the density level if your juice to help you obtain the perfect consistency for your preference.
There's only a 500ml capacity but this juicer is BPA free and easy to clean thanks to the separate compartment for any left-over pulp. It also has rubber feet to minimise vibrations.
Philips Avance Juicer HR1922/21

Sage SJS700SIL Big Squeeze
The Sage SJS700SIL Big Squeeze uses a screw and filter design to squeeze the maximum amount of fresh juice from whole foods - hence the name. the feed chute is said to be the largest on the market and the 240-watt motor is claimed to be super quiet when in operation.
There's Quick Rinse technology on board that allows you to fill up the mixing bowl from the spout and completely rinse out the machine in between use. The spout also lets you pre mix your juice before pouring for fuller flavour and texture.
