We've been granted another proper look at The Rings of Power, the upcoming show from Amazon Prime Video, and it's more of a glimpse at some major characters than we've had before.

The footage shows plenty of Morfydd Clarks' Galadriel, imploring a younger Elrond (Robert Aramayo) to take seriously the threat she's seen in visions.

Even more so than the existing teasers and trailers, this is a trailer that shows just where that stratospheric Amazon budget is going - the show looks absolutely gorgeous, with loads of locations and characters on show.

From dwarves to elves and everything in between, the costuming and visual design looks like it could manage to live up to the astonishing work in the film trilogy that remains so beloved.

It's a far longer trailer than the one-minute affair that Amazon debuted to huge fanfare during the Superbowl earlier this year, which you can watch below.

That trailer was necessarily quite short (Super Bowl ad slots are, after all, are outrageously pricey), but zipped us through quick looks at a number of the characters we know are going to feature.

There's still a little while to go before the show launches on 2 September 2022, so we're looking forward to a few more teases from Amazon in the meantime.
