Garmin has added two fitness watches to its range - the Forerunner 310XT and the Forerunner 405CX.
The Forerunner 310XT is a waterproof multi-sport GPS-enabled fitness watch.
For running, jogging, walking, biking and other outdoor sports, the Forerunner 310XT tracks speed, distance, pace and location and offers heart rate-based calorie computation.
Waterproof to a depth of 50 metres, the Forerunner 310XT is angled at swimming fans and triathletes and can be moved "easily" from optional bike mount to wrist.
Clever techery includes a "Virtual Partner" training buddy and syncing with Garmin's other fitness peripherals and your computer via ANT+ tech.
With 20 hours battery life, the Forerunner 310XT will be available for £299.99 or £329.99 with heart rate monitor.
The Forerunner 405CX claims to add increased accuracy in heart rate-based calorie computation and improved comfort.
The improved comfort comes in with the choice of two additional form-fitting watch straps for large and small wrists.
In addition to monitoring heart rate and counting calories the 405CX tracks speed, distance, pace and location with a touch bezel on the face of the watch.
Water-resistant, there's optional foot pods and bike mounts while ANT+ technology sends workout data to the user's PC or Mac wirelessly with auto-syncing.
