Adidas looks set to unveil its new miCoach Fit Smart band soon, after myriad leaks have revealed it in the wild.

The miCoach Fit Smart has appeared at the FCC, Legal Force and even on retailer Keller Sports. A pretty telling combination.

The Adidas miCoach Fit Smart band should be aimed more at the Nike+ FuelBand SE than Adidas' Smart Run watch was. This Fit Smart features an LED dot display, like the FuelBand's, rather than the LCD display found on the Smart Run.

The Adidas miCoach Fit Smart will feature a built-in heart rate monitor on the rear, according to the photos. This makes it more of a running device than a simple step counting fitness band – perhaps it will track running accurately despite likely not having GPS?

The FCC shows the Fit Smart will use Bluetooth 4.0 LE to communicate with the user's mobile. Since Adidas was announced as a Google Fit partner that will mean deep data integration into Android smartphones.

Expect to hear about an official release from Adidas soon.
