Samsung's foldable phone has appeared in a leaked advert online.

The Samsung Galaxy Flex (or Galaxy F, as some have called it) appears in what seems to be an official commercial posted on YouTube. And, you can watch it above.

It doesn't seem to be for the new phone specifically, but for future tech in general - ideas and concepts that Samsung is either working on or fantasises about. However, you can clearly see the folding phone in a couple of scenes, which looks similar to the device shown on stage during the Samsung Developers Conference last year.

The ad, which was pulled from its original source, thought to be Samsung Vietnam, but reposted on YouTube by SlashLeaks. It sports two phrases appearing in Vietnamese near the end that translates as "new standards we created today" and "so you can start creating it tomorrow" in English. The phraseology is very Samsung, so is a further clue to its validity.

As for the other tech shown in the ad, transparent displays are something we know the company is working on, as are robot arms. Not sure we'd trust one to tattoo us quite yet.

The consumer version of the Samsung Galaxy Flex is expected to make its bow during Samsung Unpacked on 20 February. You can watch the event live right here.
