AMD has revealed the Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards with the latest info on RDNA 2 architecture and more. The company has been teasing the RX 6000 series for quite some time. We already know that the new architecture will feature in the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5, but now we're finding out more about that and how it will work on PC. 

The Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards are the latest offering from AMD and will be the direct competitor to Nvidia's RTX 3000 series line-up. They use AMD's Navi 2x microarchitecture. You can watch AMD unveil its latest wares above.

What happened at the launch event?

AMD revealed key specs for the Radeon RX 6800 XT, Radeon RX 6800, and Radeon RX 6900 XT.

AMD RX 6000 series key specs:

  • Maximum boost clocks of 2.1-2.25 GHz
  • 16GB of GDDR6 for all the three cards
  • 128MB Infinity Cache
    • Doubles effective bandwidth
  • One Ray Accelerator per CU
    • 10x speedup for RT calculations

    • $649 for 6800 XT
